Couples Therapy in Texas (Online)

Relationships can feel deeply loving — and deeply painful — at the same time.

Many couples reach out when communication feels strained, conflict cycles repeat, or emotional distance has quietly grown. Others seek support during major life transitions such as parenting stress, career changes, betrayal recovery, or discernment about whether to stay or separate.

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. You simply need a willingness to understand each other more clearly.

Common Reasons Couples Seek Therapy

• Communication breakdowns
• Recurring arguments that never fully resolve
• Emotional disconnection
• Parenting disagreements
• Stress from external pressures (work, finances, family)
• Trust concerns or betrayal
• Pre-divorce discernment conversations
• Rebuilding after difficult seasons

My Approach to Couples Work

My work with couples is grounded, structured, and emotionally attuned.

I integrate trauma-informed care with communication skill-building and emotional regulation work. Often, conflict patterns are not simply about the current disagreement — they are rooted in stress responses, attachment wounds, or long-standing relational dynamics.

In our work together, we focus on:

• Slowing down reactive cycles
• Strengthening emotional safety
• Clarifying needs and boundaries
• Building healthier communication patterns
• Supporting mutual accountability

The goal is not to “win” arguments.
The goal is to create understanding and steadiness.

Discernment & Transition Support

Some couples seek therapy because they are unsure whether to continue the relationship. Discernment counseling provides a structured space to explore that decision thoughtfully, without pressure or urgency.

If separation becomes part of the process, therapy can also support respectful communication and co-parenting transitions.
